Most aquatic vegetation is not eradicated, but can be controlled.  There is no magic bullet, but a well-stocked toolbox is necessary.  In order to control algae and nuisance aquatic vegetation, our staff develops an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach for each client.  FLPM can visit your pond or lake and assess the water quality, identify the nuisance vegetation and identify unwanted sources of nutrients and other variables that affect the growth of aquatic plants.  You can also bring us a sample of your nuisance vegetation to our office at 183 Donmoor Court, Garner, NC 27529, for a free consultation and IPM plan.  We have the tools and expertise to help you “treat” it yourself.
